Before I begin, Ive been noticing something: I get at least three hits from Japan a day. However, I only know two people in Japan, so.because my curiosity is getting the better of me, could the Japanese folk sign my guestbook or email me?

Anyway.

Exhaustion tugged at Secrets eyelids. They had been droopy since her random crying fit in her car earlier.

Waitlets back up.

The mornings plans had undergone a sudden change because of the weather. Secret had actually grown accustomed to driving her car without heat; she simply cracked open a window and bundled herself up. That way, the window didnt fog up and she stayed warm. The plan was to drive her car back to the Heights in the morning and drive back with RP, the Roommate, later in the day. However, God had sent his weather messenger down upon them with a fine mist so that black ice would be borne. Secrets mother was none too happy about her driving back with her PLPD insurance in such icy circumstances.

So, after already being up at 8 and taking a shower, Secret climbed back up into her bed to awaken three or four hours later. She took her (what she hoped would become) daily trip to the IM to burn 600 calories and then worked on a bit of homework. She wasnt exactly sure when she had started to feel upset.

Maybe it was when P, the Conqueror, had been talking, yet again, incessantly about how much fun he was having with his step cousins. He couldnt stop talking up how pretty, smart, fun, and all around perfect his cousins were. Of course Secret felt a twinge of jealousy, but at the same time she felt kinda disgusted. She knew that they were only step-cousins and not blood related, but it still seemed wrong to her to get involved with family. Plus, she found him more and more annoying with how much he seemed to be talking her down.

Or maybe it had to do with how stress had been starting to build up on her so quickly. It wasnt that she was behind in classes, it was more that she had gotten used to the five weeks of no real work. She wasnt ready to jump back into the workload that shed had, but shed already put such pressure on herself to do even better than shed done the previous semester.

Or maybe she was just in a bad mood in general because shed pushed herself too hard when she worked out.

All that she wanted was some more restthe three day weekend hadnt been long enough.
